Darwinism and Social Thought
Bakersfield College's Levan Center will present a panel discussion on Darwinism and Social Thought on November 4 at 7 p.m. in the Fireside Room. A session with Bakersfield College faculty members Edward Borgens (political science), Michael Harvath (economics), and Karen Kettner (behavioral science) will highlight the evening.
Future Leaders at BC
The Center for Kern Political Education, a Bakersfield College foundation, is hosting the Future Leaders Conference on November 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The conference features keynote speakers, awards and workshops, and is open to the public and free. L.A. History Comes Alive
Auditions for Twilight: Los Angeles, a play centered on the 1992 riots in Los Angeles by Tony award winning-actress and author Anna Deveare Smith, will be held on November 18 and 19 from 4-7 p.m. in SAM 107. Contact director Kim Chin at 395-4388 for more information.
