Coach Taylor is in her 21^st year as Head Coach at Bakersfield College and her 29th year overall. Taylor was a three sport athlete at College of the Sequoias where she was a member of 5 out of 6 conference championships. Her athletic career continued at CSU Fresno, where Coach Taylor was a member of the1982 Bulldogs finishing 2^nd in the NCAA College World Series. 

Since taking over at Bakersfield College, the Renegades have won 3 conference titles in 1997, 1998 & 2005 and have advanced to Post Season play 13 out of 19 years. Coach Taylor has been named the WSC Conference Coach of the Year and Southern California Coach of The Year in 1997 & 2005. In 2005 the Bakersfield College Coaching Staff was named the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Coaching Staff of the Year for California Community Colleges.
